On the Mount Assiniboine Traverse you camp at designated backcountry campgrounds or stay in the Naiset Huts or Assiniboine Lodge at Lake Magog. Every night must be booked before you go: Banff backcountry permits with Parks Canada, Porcupine, Og Lake and Lake Magog with BC Parks, and the huts and lodge with Assiniboine Lodge. Carry a tent, stove and all your food, and arrange transport from Mount Shark in advance.
