Thimphu
On the Druk Path you sleep in tents at the Department of Tourism's designated campsites; there are no lodges or huts on the way. Your licensed tour operator brings the tents, cook, food and pack animals, and books your hotels in Paro before the trek and in Thimphu after it. The Sustainable Development Fee (USD 100 per adult per night) is paid for every night, including nights in camp.
