Coast to Coast Walk accommodation: inns, B&Bs & hostels by stage

38 places to sleep and eat in 23 towns and villages along the trail, from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay. Pick a stage to see names, phone numbers, websites and what each place offers.

On the Coast to Coast you sleep in inns, B&Bs, hotels, hostels, bunkhouses and campsites in the villages and towns along the route. There is no general right to wild camp in England: use campsites or ask the landowner (on the Lake District fells a discreet one-night camp above the highest fell wall is normally tolerated). Villages such as Ennerdale Bridge, Keld, Danby Wiske and Glaisdale have few rooms and Clay Bank Top has none, so book well ahead for May to September; companies such as Sherpa Van and Coast to Coast Packhorse carry your bags.
