Basic hostal on the Tinki plaza, mapped on OSM as "hostel ausungate", about 1 km from where the trail leaves the village. Rough Guides says the owners can arrange arrieros (muleteers), horses and local guides; ask on arrival, as it has no website or published phone.

Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "not confirmed by the operator" are listed on OpenStreetMap or in hiker reports but could not be checked on an official page. The campsites on the Ausangate Circuit belong to Quechua herding communities. Most have no facilities beyond a stream and sometimes a toilet or stone shelter; ask the family before you pitch, pay the small fee in cash, and carry out all your rubbish.
