Minibuses and colectivos leave from the Tinki plaza for Ocongate, Urcos and Cusco (about 3 hours, S/15-20) from early morning; departures are irregular after midday, so finish early. Taxis to Pacchanta or Upis (S/30-50 per car) wait here too.

The campsites on the Ausangate Circuit belong to Quechua herding communities. Most have no facilities beyond a stream and sometimes a toilet or stone shelter; ask the family before you pitch, pay the small fee in cash, and carry out all your rubbish.
