On the Teton Crest Trail you sleep in your own tent. Every night inside Grand Teton National Park needs a backcountry permit for a named camping zone or site, booked on Recreation.gov from January or as a walk-up permit the day before; nights in Alaska Basin and at Fox Creek Pass are free Forest Service camping. Carry an approved bear canister and a stove, as campfires are banned. Book rooms in Jackson and Teton Village early for July and August.
