Stage 7 of the Stubai High Trail covers 5.7 km from Nürnberger Hütte to Bremer Hütte, with 574 m of ascent and 440 m of descent. The highest point is 2,720 m. Allow about 3 hours of walking, plus breaks.

Small, simple alpine club hut (DAV Bremen) at 2,413 m with 69 places in multi-bed rooms and dorms, cold-water washrooms and coin showers. Open 2026 from 19 June to 21 September; book online. Rucksack transport to the Innsbrucker Hütte costs 15 euros.

The huts open from about mid-June to late September, depending on snow. Book ahead, mostly online; bookings are binding, and a hut sleeping bag is compulsory.
