Floe Lake backcountry campground

  • Camping
  • Seasonal — call ahead

Parks Canada backcountry campground (about 18 tent pads, dry toilets, picnic tables, food lockers) on the shore of Floe Lake below the Rockwall, the most sought-after site on the trail. Parks Canada books it only from 10 July; there is no overflow camping, so you need a reservation; no campfires.

Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "not confirmed by the operator" are listed on OpenStreetMap or in guides but could not be checked on an official page. On the trail you may camp only at the Parks Canada backcountry campground named on your permit. Every night must be reserved in advance; random camping is not allowed and there is no overflow camping at Floe Lake.
