On the Corfu Trail you sleep in small hotels, family-run studios and apartments, rooms above tavernas and a few beach resorts; there are no huts, and the only campsite is at Paleokastritsa (wild camping is illegal in Greece). Most places open from about May to October. Lefkimmi, Paramonas, Stavros, Sokraki and Old Perithia have only a few beds, so book early; at Stavros most walkers stay in Benitses, 1-2 km below the trail. Small places often want cash.
