Camino Finisterre emergency & health guide: hospitals, PACs and 112

The nearest hospital with a 24/7 emergency department for each of the 5 stages, out-of-hours emergency points (PAC), rescue numbers for Galicia, the main rules, and pharmacies, ATMs and bus stops along the trail.

In an emergency call 112. It works on any phone and sends the ambulance, the Guardia Civil, fire and rescue services. For medical emergencies you can also call 061, the Galician health emergency service. Say which stage you are on, the nearest village and, if you can, your GPS coordinates.

Pharmacies, cash and supplies

There are pharmacies in Negreira, Cee, Corcubión, Fisterra and Muxía, but none on the trail between Negreira and Cee. At night and on Sundays a duty pharmacy (farmacia de garda) covers each area: the rota is on the A Coruña pharmacists' website (cofc.es) and on the door of every pharmacy. Carry water and snacks for the stretches without shops: Hospital to Cee and Lires to Muxía.
