Historic inn right on the Westweg where it meets the Mittelweg, with rooms and holiday flats. In summer (April to October) Tuesday is the rest day; it is the only place to stay at the stage end, so book early.
Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "listed, not confirmed" appear on a public listing (OpenStreetMap or the official Westweg stage planner) but could not be confirmed on their own website. Unterstmatt, Hark, the Wilhelmshöhe, the Kalte Herberge and the Wiedener Eck have only one or two places on the trail, many inns have a weekly rest day (Ruhetag), and several close for a few weeks in November: book ahead and check the opening days.
