Open, very windy campsite next to the Paine Grande lodge (CLP 10,000 per person per night in 2026–27, 4-season tent rental extra), with a sheltered cooking area, hot showers 12:00–22:00 and the lodge minimarket. Booking required.
Catamaran from the Paine Grande dock to Pudeto (about 30 min), where buses leave for Puerto Natales; it is the usual exit or entry point of the W. Sailings depend on the wind; book on catamaranpehoe.com.
Large Vértice mountain lodge beside the Lago Pehoé catamaran dock, in mixed bunk dorms (simple bed from CLP 53,000 or made-up bed CLP 91,500 in 2026–27), buffet restaurant, minimarket, hot showers and paid wifi. Vértice lists it as open most of the year, but the W itself was closed in June and July 2026; book ahead.

Refugios on the W Trek have mixed bunk dorms, hot showers and paid meals; campsites have toilets, showers and a sheltered cooking area. Cook only in that shelter (stoves are banned at Chileno), never inside a refugio or tent, and carry out all your rubbish.
