Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "not confirmed by the operator" are listed on OpenStreetMap or in guides but could not be checked on an official page. Refugios on the W Trek have mixed bunk dorms, hot showers and paid meals; campsites have toilets, showers and a sheltered cooking area. Cook only in that shelter (stoves are banned at Chileno), never inside a refugio or tent, and carry out all your rubbish.
