Palm oasis with several Bedouin families and simple camps where hikers can pitch a tent and buy meals and water for a small fee; it is the changeover point from Tarabin to Muzeina guides and camels. Arranged by your guide; no phone booking.
Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "not confirmed by the operator" are listed by the Sinai Trail, on OpenStreetMap or in guides but could not be checked on their own page. Between Ras Shetan and St Katherine you sleep in wild camps chosen by your Bedouin guides, in your own tent or under the stars; the team cooks and camels carry the water. Map points for camps the Sinai Trail does not publish are approximate.
