Small stone shelter just below the summit of Jebel Katherina (2,642 m), where groups sleep on the last night or camp beside it; it is unstaffed and cannot be booked. Expect frost from November to March and possible snow.

Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "not confirmed by the operator" are listed by the Sinai Trail, on OpenStreetMap or in guides but could not be checked on their own page. Camps on the Sinai Trail have no buildings, toilets or shops. Bring your own tent, a sleeping bag rated to −5 °C and a mat; camels carry them. Never wash in springs or wells: they are Bedouin drinking water.
