Uganda Wildlife Authority ticket office at the park boundary, about 1 km up the trail from the RMS office. Park entry is normally included in the RMS package; the phone is the UWA head office in Kampala.
Base office of RMS, the only company allowed to run treks on the Central Circuit, 17 km from Kasese off the Kasese–Fort Portal road. You pay, meet your guide and porters, and hire gumboots, rain gear and climbing equipment here on the morning of day 1; RMS also runs transfers from Kasese.
