B&B in the former Dufton youth hostel by the village green, renovated by a local family after 2024; about 250 m from the trail. The Stag Inn opposite serves evening meals.

Places on the Pennine Way are small and fill up from May to September; book ahead and tell your host if you will arrive late. Some hosts collect walkers from the trail by arrangement. Baggage-transfer companies carry bags between overnight stops; book them in advance.
