Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "listed, not confirmed" appear in the official trail guidebook or on OpenStreetMap but not on a current official listing or their own website. Huts and wind shelters on the High Coast Trail are free, open all year and first come, first served: you may not turn other hikers away, and in Skuleskogen newcomers get priority. Bring your own sleeping bag, mat and stove, collect firewood only where it is provided, and leave the hut clean. Paid places are small; book ahead and call if you will arrive late.
