On the Fundy Footpath you sleep in your own tent at primitive campsites at the mouths of the brooks, some with a pit privy and a food hang; there are no huts, shops or drinking water. The Footpath sites are free and cannot be booked, but you must register your hike with Fundy Trail Provincial Park. The Goose River sites in Fundy National Park must be reserved with Parks Canada, and inns in St. Martins and Alma should be booked ahead.
