Gorak Shep
On the Everest Base Camp Trek you sleep in teahouses: family lodges with simple twin rooms, shared toilets and a heated dining room where you are expected to eat dinner and breakfast. Gorak Shep is the last place to sleep; there is no lodging at Base Camp. Outside October, November and April you can usually find a bed on arrival; in those months book Tengboche, Lobuche and Gorak Shep ahead through your guide.
