Camper Bay
Camper Bay campsite
- Camping
- Seasonal — call ahead
Designated Parks Canada wilderness campsite at km 62. Busy beach-edge sites with an outhouse and food lockers. The creek floods in heavy rain, so do not camp too close to it; a Guardian cabin is nearby. Start early next day: the section to Gordon River is the slowest on the trail.
Cullite Cove
Cullite Creek campsite
- Camping
- Seasonal — call ahead
- Not confirmed by the operator — check first
Designated Parks Canada wilderness campsite at km 58. A small site for 4 or 5 tents in a deep, shady gorge with a rocky beach, outhouse and food locker, reached by a short, rough side trail about 0.2 km off the main route.
Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "not confirmed by the operator" are on the official trail map, OpenStreetMap or in guides but could not be checked on an official page. The campsites on the West Coast Trail are designated camping areas in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve: free with your overnight permit, first come, first served, with outhouses and, at most sites, metal food lockers, but no shelters, showers or shops. Small driftwood fires are allowed only on the beach below the high-tide line, unless a fire ban is in force.
