Ospitale Casetta dei Pellegrini
Small donation-based parish hostel with 5 beds by the church in Galleno, on the trail about 7 km after Altopascio; space for sleeping mats and tents. Confirm in low season.
Convento di San Francesco
Large 13th-century Franciscan convent at the entrance to the old town, 100 m from the trail, run by the Nuovi Orizzonti community; rooms for about 70, with optional breakfast and half board.
B&B with a few rooms on Via Augusto Conti in the historic centre, on the trail below the Rocca.

Pilgrim-oriented hostel with 13 beds in 4- and 5-bed dorms in the old seminary on Piazza Mazzini, right on the trail; kitchen and washing machine. Check-in 3 to 5 pm, booking needed for later arrival.

Places marked "listed, not confirmed" appear on a public listing (the Via Francigena Toscana site, Gronze or OpenStreetMap) but could not be confirmed on their own website. Donation-based pilgrim hostels (donativo) usually take no bookings and open in the afternoon; private and religious hostels, B&Bs and hotels can be booked. Several hostels close from about November to March, and small places such as Ponte d'Arbia, Radicofani and Sutri have few beds: book ahead in spring and autumn.
