On the Via degli Dei you sleep in B&Bs, agriturismi (farm stays), small hotels, rooms above bars and a few campsites in the villages along the route; there are no huts. Wild camping is not allowed in Emilia-Romagna. Brento, Madonna dei Fornelli and Passo della Futa have only a few places, so book every night ahead, especially from April to June, in September and at weekends; at the Futa several hosts pick walkers up from the pass.
