Stage 3 of the Torres del Paine O Circuit covers 11.4 km from Dickson to Los Perros, with 452 m of ascent and 106 m of descent. The highest point is 562 m. Allow about 4.5 hours of walking, plus breaks.

The only place to sleep before the John Gardner Pass: a forest campsite with cold showers, a cooking shelter and a small shop, but no meals and no Wi-Fi. 2026-27: pitch CLP 9,000 (USD 11) per person; open October to April, booking required; check out by 07:00.

Every night on the O Circuit must be booked in advance with Las Torres Patagonia or Vértice; without a confirmed booking the rangers will not let you into the mountain area, and wild camping is forbidden.
