Usual first-night camp, 6.5 km from Ramsay Bay on the southern side of the lagoon, redesigned in 2023-2025 with defined sites, platforms, pack poles and a composting toilet. Water from the creek upstream of the lagoon. Book the whole trail with a Thorsborne Trail pass.
Trail camping area 4 km from Ramsay Bay, with separately defined sites, a composting toilet and a pack rack. Water from creeks 100-200 m upstream at either end of the bay; use it if Little Ramsay Bay is your second night.

Most have composting toilets and pack racks; none has drinking water, so treat creek water. No campfires: cook on a fuel stove.
