On the Karhunkierros you sleep in free open wilderness huts or in your own tent at the marked campsites beside them. Nothing can be booked and huts are first come, first served, so carry a tent, a stove and food for every day. Cabins and hotels exist only at Hautajärvi, Oulanka Camping (summer), Juuma and Ruka: book those, and the summer buses, ahead.
