Checked online in October 2026. Places marked "not confirmed by the operator" are listed on OpenStreetMap or in guides but could not be checked on an official page. The campgrounds on the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim are NPS backcountry sites: a permit is required, you may stay at most two nights in each, and each site has a picnic table, pack pole and metal food can. Fires are banned below the rim, so cook on a gas stove, and carry a filter: in 2026 the taps are off.
